Students 16 years or older are eligible to apply for admission to many of BBTC’s programs. Most career and technical education programs have enrollment opportunities in August and again in January. The exceptions are Practical Nursing (July), Cosmetology (August only), Patient Care Technician (August only) and Nursing Assistant (May only).
Enrollment in GED®, Continuing Workforce Education and Applied Academics (Adult Ed.) classes varies throughout the year. Contact the Student Services Office for specific information.
Business Office Information:
All payments are to be made in the Business Office.
Cash, Money Orders, Cashier Checks, Personal Checks, Visa or MasterCard are accepted. Processing fee of $1.00 for any credit card charges under $100.00.
Transfer of Credit:
Students who attended other accredited technical centers may submit copies of their records at the time of application. Records are reviewed by counselors in conjunction with individual instructors to determine if credit can be transferred.
Proof of Florida Residency and Fees are due prior to beginning adult education classes. Please review guide and form below.

Federal Regulations (FERPA) requires that institutions that receive Title IV funding provide specific consumer information to prospective and currently enrolled students and, in some cases, employers. You may access the consumer information at Taylortechnical.org . If you are unable to access the information online, you may contact the school office for a paper copy of the information.

Veterans Education Benefits:
Many programs are approved for VA. Eligible veterans may be certified for VA benefits through the Financial Aid Office 850.838.2545 ext. 235.
Veterans should check with the VA Certifying Official in the Financial Aid Office to apply for or re-activate their VA educational entitlements. All required application forms are available in the Financial Aid Office.
